Perfect Canine Plus Academy
Puppy Elementary School
$85 – 4 week course (1hr/wk)
10 week old – 15 week old pups
Puppies must have second round of puppy shots.
This course covers:
– potty training/housebreaking
– crate training
– puppy biting
– appropriate puppy play
– name game
– intro to lure/reward
– intro to leash walking
– intro to recall
– body handling

High School
$130 – 6 week course (1hr/wk)
4 months and up
All dogs must be current on vaccines.
This course covers:
– attention
– sit
– down
– stand
– stay
– come
– leave it
– wait
– loose leash walking
– four feet on the floor
+ $10 STAR puppy test (optional/for dogs up to 1 year)

8 months and up
All dogs must be current on vaccines.
*Prerequisite: High School level or equivalent
This course covers more advanced obedience using Rally Novice Obedience, including:
– reinforcing sit/stay
– reinforcing down/stay
– come to heel
– call front
– around
– heel
– finish right/left
– pivot right/left
– various cone exercises

$130 – 6 week course (1hr/wk)
$20 CGC test when dog is ready
8 months and up
All dogs must be current on vaccines.
*Prerequisite: High School level or equivalent
This course is designed for the Canine Good Citizen test. The test consists of ten objectives. All ten items must be completed satisfactorily in order to pass the test. Test items include:
– Accepting a friendly stranger
– Sitting politely for petting
– Allowing basic grooming procedures
– Walking on a loose leash
– Walking through a crowd
– Sitting and lying down on command and staying in place
– Coming when called
– Reacting appropriately to another dog
– Reacting appropriately to distractions
– Calmly enduring supervised separation from the owner
